Mrs. Acosta Wins 2019 Above and Beyond Award!
The Chicagoland Lutheran Educational Foundation recently awarded our preschool teacher, Judith Acosta, their 2019 Above and Beyond Award. Recognizing her classroom excellence and dedication to impeccable service, Mrs. Acosta was just one of three teachers award this honor. Congratulations! We are so thankful to have you as part of our BIA family!
All-School Christmas Worship

Last evening our entire school joined together in telling the Christmas story. While there were sheep, angels, Wiseman, Shepherds, and of course, Mary and Joseph, the true star of our service was the message of the coming of Jesus and the promise that his birth gives to each of us.
Evening with Santa

Who is that man in the red suit coming through the BIA doors? It's none other than jolly old St. Nick! He made an extra special stop at our Evening with Santa, which can only mean one thing....our students must be pretty incredible! There were games, crafts, and yummy food including the "Melting Snowman" pancakes. Thank you to our stellar staff for putting together such a memorable event.
Thanksgiving Breakfast

Thanksgiving is about more than food...it's about family and all that we have to be thankful for. At BIA we know that there are many types of families. This morning, our students celebrated Thanksgiving with their school family. It was a delicious breakfast of French Toast, eggs, sausages, and fruit...yummy!
International Fest

International Fest was quite the way to kick off the weekend with old friends...and new...while sharing in cuisine from around the world. Thank you for celebrating with us last evening! We think it’s safe to say that a great time was had by all.

What a blessing it is to be part of the Lutheran family and to be able to give and receive support from our sister churches!
Recently, Bethesda was treated to an exterior beautification from the service team at St. Paul Mount Prospect. Headed up by DCE Dari, Bethesda received the works. New mulch, paint, trimming...you name it, they did it!
We are so thankful for the work, funding, and time you all put in. Thank you, thank you!
