​​For over 70 years, Bethesda International Academy has proudly served the West Rogers Park community and its surrounding areas, offering a unique blend of academic excellence and a close-knit, family atmosphere— all rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Established in 1952 as Bethesda Lutheran School, our mission has always been to provide children with a Christ-centered education that prepares them for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and service. In 2013, we transitioned to our current name, Bethesda International Academy, to reflect our growing and diverse community.

With our dedicated Christian faculty and staff, we focus on helping each student discover and nurture their unique gifts and talents. As a small, private school, we offer personalized, focused instruction in a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Our graduates excel in high school and beyond, becoming strong contributors to their communities.

In addition to our Preschool through 8th grade programs, Bethesda has expanded to meet the needs of our families, offering a full-day childcare program for younger students, as well as an Extended Care Program for after-school support.
